After setting the “mintytours.com” website to “go live” at about midnight last night, it was a struggle to get up for dawn.

We were out by 5.50AM and did a 2 hour tour round the Abbotswood estate and Nether Swell. On top of this, I had a visit from the mayor and his fiance, Ben Eddolls and Susie, to review arrangements for my house whilst I am in France. Then to complete the provisional marshall’s rote for the Stow Motor Show for this Saturday, Bastille Day, July 14th, AND prepare tea for sister and law & husband Ursila & Ron AND tidy the house to look as if I occasionally cleaned it!

Ursula and Ron recorded an audio file for me, which will go out on today’s audio diary. In short, they thought I was mad.

So after our stuffed pork fillet, Ursula and Ron have left and I am now consulting the oracle of WPLive, to tidy up bits on the website.
