Navigating with a Spanish map in France is a not very helpful. In the midst of a downpour, the water hitting my pink plastic waterproof mobile cover, was sufficiently intense, as to cause the scale of the map to shrink from highly detailed,  to a map of  Europe, centered on Spain! Then it spun the world around and I was looking at a map of China! Maps on touch phones in the rain have their limitations!

Today”s camping tip: lighten your pack by throwing out your spoon in the dogfood tin!

After  a nights glamping ( I am finding it hard getting used to a bed without sticks,  stones and lumps!), the rain set in at 7 and stopped at  2. Stuffed a plastic bag into the lining of the dog’s gel coats, which acted like a waterproof wetsuit and kept them amazingly warm. The sin has finally come out and we have collapsed in a field to enjoy its warmth.
