Disaster!

Mon charger-solaire à disparu environ 8 heures du soir hier, près du Fontaine devant l’eglise à Colognė.

Si vous le retrouve, je suis devant l’eglise.

My solar-charger has disapeared about 8PM yesterlday evening, near to the water fountain in front of the church at Cologné.

If you find it, I am in front of the church.

POSTSCRIPT

I have reported the loss of the charger to whoever I meet: the Mairie; the bar-tabac owner and the man who waters the plants on The Square! One of the kind tesidents, Jack Ligot and his wife Elizabeth, kindly invited me for an alcoholic lunch where I ate VEGETABLES and SALAD which I feel deprived of and it was all very lovely and kind. After sleeping off the wine in a chair in the garden under a tree, Jack, who turns out to be the very un-adsuming Director of Research at Le Louvre, drove me to Chateau-sur-Loire, where I caught the train to Tours. Although delayed by 1.5 hours, at least it was not ferméd!

Made the mistake of walking to the campsite on the southern side of Le Loire: it was miles. So very relieved, put the tent up in the dark in a hogh wind that has sprung up. Shopping for a charger tomorrow.
