After a night of torrential rain and a feeling that some might have got under the zip of the flysheet into the tent. Collected my 2 croissants and 2 baguettes at the reception and downed the croissants with a coffee.

Headed into Fontès. Bought a Camembert at the boucherie. Established thst the only place to get dog croquetted wad at a supetmarkwt in  Pezinas. So we headed for there. Now moving out of the hilly area into the plain down to rhe coast. Followed a river valley with a series of “domaine” wine names, then a chateau.

Eventially made Pezinas without the threatened tain ever arriving. Stopped ay Lidl and now have 3kg of more dogfood to carry!

Walked on down a track parallel to the old railway line. This looks like a proper track on the nap, but isn’t.

So have put the tent up just past a campsite, that although marked on the map, is closed for the winter.

Looks like I will head south a little to the east of this, then head west along the river into Montblanc, back on my semi-planned route.
