Oct 15 Crêpes
The rain set in over-night and the sound of water eunning off the roof became like a constant tap running.
So plans to go canoeing on the river were abandoned and breakfast lapsed into lunch. In an attempt to exercise the dogs, wandeeed down to the rsilway station and reserved my train tickets for travelling to St. Malo tomorrow. This involves an early 7.30 start, then changes at Perigeau, Bordeaux, Paris and Rennes.
Dinner with friends was a very simple but delicous plate of crêpes and I discovered that gently frying cheese (gruyere) on one side made a most delicous crispy crêpe. Compliments to the chef!
