I had thought of going to see the 200 rock paintings at the cave or “Grotte” of Le Font de Gaume. However I was late in starting off and Topsy was limping slightly, so abandoneded the idea and retired to the campsite pool. It says 25°C in the certificate beside it on water quality. However it seemed cooler than that and I was not inclined to dally. There was a shallow pool at 27°C to compensate.

We were invited for afternoon tea to Taysac, about 1k west of the village. The dogs very successfully made peace with 3 large cats and they all stared at each other in the garden. Happy tried to sneak into the house but was expelled, as this was CAT terroritory! Very pleasamt afternoon socialising on the lawn. May try for Le Grotte tomorrow. Happy and Topy tired out!
