We arrived in this chateaux containing village about 1.30, after a slow 8.45AM start from our campsite. Headed into  Lignières-Orgreave and up at the boulangerie gor brealfast. The dogs had cat food for breakfast, as they had no dog food. Wolfed it down!

Am sat at “The Annex” off the main square  ànd have now had the plât du jour of chiçken fillets and green beans. Also 2 beers which is sending me asleep! Will probably put some miles on on the route this afternoon.

Tomorrow we should reach the junction with the GR36, when we turn south. A true turning point on this walk.
