Aug 3. Day 19 Au revour GR22!
At 1PM, two very hot dogs collapsed by a seemingly insignificant “turn right” sign.
This was actually very significant, and marked the end of our travels on the GR22 from Mt. St. Michel, taking in memorials to the Allies advance through Normandy in WW2, as they, like the GR22, headed East for Paris.
This was the junction with the GR36, which wends it’s way south to the Pyranees. We will follow it most of the way, deviating near Cahors to head off towards Montpellier.
