The Romans have not left France.

They have joined the Routes Forrestrier, who have carved a very boring 3k straight road to the East of St. Rémy-de-Sillé.

I had diverted there for dog food (don’t ask for “croquettes” in a French restaurant ( dog nuts) ). The kind people with a Beagle and a little fluffy white dog said there were no shops there, so gave me a bag of their croquettes! Wonderful generosity again (see picture).

So a Frenchman’s best friend is his dog!
